KnitPack Original

The KnitPack Original was designed out of a need to organize the mulititude of needles that we accumulated right after starting to knit.  Seeing how, the more you knit, the more needles and notions you acquire, we designed this needle case to hold just about everything.

This handmade needle case is designed to store circular and double pointed knitting needles with ease.  It measures a smart 10 X 6 when closed which makes it ideal for taking your knitting on the go.  This KnitPack as 18 pockets to hold needles of all sized and cord lengths.  It also has a handy pocket for notions, perfect for cable hooks, measuring tapes, stitch markers, and scissors.  There is also an extra bonus pocket behind the notions pocket in case you have and abundance of notions, or if you need to keep a copy of your current project’s ball band handy.

This KnitPack also has angled corners to ensure a tidy and secure closure.  Like all Erin.Lane products this KnitPack is machine washable.  We know life happens.  You should be able to clean it up after it does!

KnitPack Interchangeable

The KnitPack Interchangeable is designed to accommodate any interchangeable knitting needle system.  This KnitPack is a must for any knitter with a set of Denise, KnitPicks Options, or the new Addi Interchangeable needles.  This handly little envelope is perfect for taking your interchangeable needles with you no matter where you are going.

It is designed with a study canvas needle pocket that will hold knitting needle tips from US size 4 to US size 13, with a pocket to hold your scissors. The pocket behind the needle pocket is divided in order to give you a safe and convenient place to store your systems knitting cords and buttons.

The KnitPack Interchangeable is also designed to help keep you knitting with a large notions pocket.  This secure pocket is a great place to store stitch markers, measuring tapes, buttons, tapestry needles, and loads more!  It secures with a small velcro dot to keep the pocket flap safely in place.

Closed this KnitPack measures a neat 10 X 5, and closes with the Erin.Lane adjustable rare earth magnetic closure.  Perfect for the knitting on the go because it is so compact and portable while still holding all the knitting essentials.

Like all Erin.Lane products all of our KnitPacks are machine washable.  Also, because we know that you have worked hard on your fiber craft, all KnitPacks are 100% yarn and fiber friendly.  There is nothing to snag or pick your fiber.

The KnitPack Ulitmate

This KnitPack is designed to hold all the notions you could need, your circular needles, double points, and even a set of interchangeable needles.

This organizational system is designed with the avid knitter in mind. In order to keep you knitting, we have designed this organizational system with the large 6 X 12 inch notions pocket at the top, so you don’t have to open the entire pack just to get your notions out.

Next, there is a KnitPack within a KnitPack to hold your DPNs. This KnitPack in the center of the Pack, is 10 X 10 inches and has 2 pockets to hold everything from DPNs to crochet hooks of varying sizes. One of the pockets are only 4 inches deep to ensure that no matter how tall or short your DPNs, you can use every last ounce of space to keep yourself organized and knitting. The front pocket is 4 inches deep while the back pocket is 6.

In the last section of the three, there is a section for two types of knitting needles. In order to save space, we have layered an interchangeable pocket on top of the 8 pockets for circular needles. We understand the challenges of keeping that many needles organized, so the interchangeable pocket flips down and has a divided pocket on the back to hold your system’s cords. This pocket, measuring 10 X 5, will hold ANY interchangeable knitting needle system. This pocket is the same pocket from the KnitPack Interchangeable, with a slight twist; instead of being fixed, it flips back and forth.

Behind the Interchangeable needle system organization, there are 8 pockets for your circular needles. However, you are more than capable of putting several sets of needles in each pocket. I have used it to hold as many as 20 or more pairs of circular needles of varying sizes with space to spare. These are 5 inches deep to make sure that your needle tips stay secure without any problems.

As if all of this wasn’t enough, this knitting needle organization system folds up to a neat 12 X 7 and secures with the envelope closure and our famous, strong and adjustable magnetic closure. Also, you can also hang this pack on the wall if you have something magnetic to attach it to. I tried it out, and it worked with the pack completely full! I have a magnetic board and it stuck on the thing without moving. So you could go to Home Depot and get a piece of galvanized tin for a few dollars and hang it on the wall in your closet and hang up your organization system, then if you need to go to the shop, just fold it up and take it with you!
