Erin.Lane Bags specializes in making bags that will survive the trials and tribulations of everyday living.  Our handmade bags are designed by knitters, so we know how you feel.  We have spent much time designing a bag that is not only livable but able to survive some of the most grueling stresses.  All of our totes are machine washable, so if something ever gets on your bag, you don’t have to worry about it, just empty it out and toss it into the washing machine.  TA-DA! Problem solved.

The Carry All

The Carry All is a durable knitting tote that measures approximately 18 inches tall X 15 inches wide and 5 inches deep.  It features a sturdy canvas interior with 4 pockets to hold notions and ball bands.  The bottom and straps are also sturdy canvas to survive the wear and tear of knitting on the go.  The fashion fabric exterior is 100% cotton while the center panel is stamped with knitting terms or phrases related to fiber fanatics.  Each bag’s center panel is hand stamped so some variations will occur.  The Carry All has 4 exterior pockets, 2 front and 2 back, for holding things you simply can’t live without.  We use sturdy grosgrain ribbon as accents and to add to its durability.  Because we understand what fiber artists need in a bag, we have been able to design a bag that is not only easy to care for, but also one that will keep you organized.  The Carry All closes with a strong rare earth magnetic closure to ensure that your project stays safely where it belongs.  This tote is great for holding several KnitPacks and large projects like sweaters and blankets, but is also portable enough for holding projects like socks and scarves.

The front and back of the tote are generally two different but coordinating fabrics.  This allows you to decide which side you want to be the “front.”  There are a few bags where we loved the fabric so much, we covered the entire bag in that one fabric, but generally we try to use two coordinating fabrics.  As an added bonus, because we are fiber enthusiasts ourselves, we designed this bag to be 100% yarn friendly.  That means you never have to worry about your fiber or your project getting picked or caught in anything that could compromise your hard work.
